A company produces baseball cards in equal numbers of regular packs of 16 and deluxe packs of 30. If, on a certain day a company produces 241 cards, what is the smallest number of additional cards the company needs to produce in order to maintain its regular production practice?
A) 5
B) 11
C) 21
D) 35
E) 46
Let’s find the total number of people.
The number of regular packs and deluxe packs is 16+30 = 46 total cards
The required number is 241
What we need is a multiple of 46 greater than 241
46*5=230 so 46*6 = 276
Extra cards would then be 276-241 = 35

Thanks for sharing some very helpful tips in this article! I'm trying to apply for Australian citizenship, hoping these suggestions will be extremely useful. I'm taking the Australian citizenship practice exam in preparation for the citizenship test and am certain that I'll be able to address any of the questions correctly.
